Kahala Aviation Orders Four Aei B737-400sf 11 Pallet Conversions
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Kahala Aviation of Ireland to provide two firm B737-400SF 11 Pallet Con- figuration conversions, with options for two additional conversions to be started in May of 2013. The first aircraft, a B737-400, MSN 25052 was built in 1991 and will be converted at one of AEI’s North American Conversion Facilities. Both 737-400SF conversions are being converted on spec and are currently available for lease.

Kahala Aviation Ltd. announces the acquisition of a majority interest in Danish CRJ Limited. Danish CRJ owns two CRJ-200LR aircraft: MSN7442 on lease to Georgian Airways and MSN7436 on lease to Belavia Belurusian Airlines.

Kahala Aviation announces the acquisition of a 737- 400 aircraft (MSN 25052) formerly operated by AeroSvit Airlines from ILFC. Michael Howard, Chief Financial Officer states, “we remain a disciplined purchaser of aircraft and continue to see selected opportunities to deploy capital.” It is intended to convert the aircraft to freighter.

Kahala Aviation Ltd. announces the acquisition of one 737-400 (MSN24903) currently on lease to Aerosvit Airlines JSC of Ukraine and one 737-300SF (MSN24679) now on lease to Swiftair SA in Spain. Michael Howard, Kahala Aviation CFO states, “these purchases are consistent with our corporate strategy of focusing on mid-life and older aircraft, we remain well funded and are looking to provide future liquidity to airlines and leasing companies as they sell their older model aircraft”.
