Kahala Aviation Ltd. is a global aviation company engaged in acquiring, leasing and trading used commercial aircraft.
Our focus is ten year or older narrow-body aircraft, regional jets and large turboprops. We also offer structured finance solutions and aircraft management services for our industry clients.
Our founders are Bradley Smith, Michael Garland, Mark Thatcher and Michael Howard all of whom have substantial experience in the aviation and aircraft leasing sectors. Three of our founders worked together for eight years in our predecessor company which successfully acquired 53 aircraft with an aggregate purchase price of approximately $330 million.
